CryptoWorld news reports that, according to Cointelegraph, Zach Pandl, Grayscale’s research director, said the U.S. has required Anthropic to cut off access to AI models, increasing demand for decentralized alternatives. Citing national security concerns, the U.S. government asked Anthropic to pause access for foreign citizens, and Anthropic disabled Fable 5 and Mythos 5. Within 12 hours after Anthropic cut off access, Bittensor’s TAO token rose 30%, reaching $283. Zach Pandl described Bittensor as the Bitcoin of the AI space.
