Brother Tong 6.16 ETH Outlook
$ETH Current price around 1850–1880; take a light position. Stop at 1900. First target: 1820. Second target: 1780.
Bitcoin is up less than 5 points, while Ethereum surged more than 10 points in one go. When many people see this bullish candle, they immediately start shouting, “Ethereum is finally strong.” But don’t rush to a conclusion—just because it’s up by 10 points, is Ethereum truly getting stronger, or is it simply rebounding after being hammered before?
What I’m looking at isn’t how much it’s up today, but how much it fell previously. During the earlier market choppiness, Ethereum kept grinding lower on the way down, and the drawdown from the high was far deeper than Bitcoin’s. This rally today looks more like a concentrated emotional reset—once the previously suppressed “springiness” is released all at once.
A real shift toward strength isn’t determined by who moves up the most in a single day, but by who can stand firm at resistance levels. It’s not hard to push it higher; the difficult part is holding it there. Emotions can pull out a big bullish candle, but whether it can be sustained depends on whether real money is still willing to keep charging in. If volume can’t keep up, this bullish candle will burn through the “ammunition” of the crowd, not the market’s confidence.
Don’t treat “springiness” as a reversal, and don’t assume a catch-up rally means it’s leading the trend. A true trend won’t rise for only one day. If the market really is going to change, there will be plenty of chances to board later. Once the position is set, the rest is about execution. #比特币反弹
