Deep Tide TechFlow News: On June 15, according to the official website, Michael S. Selig, Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), announced two senior personnel appointments. Donald Battle was appointed Chief Data Innovation Officer, working in the data department and joining the innovation working group; J Matthew Haws was appointed Senior Advisor in the Chairman’s Office and Regional Director for Chicago.



Among them, Battle previously served in the cryptocurrency task force and the data science group within the enforcement division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), with experience in blockchain forensics, data science, and anti-money laundering; Haws has more than 13 years of legal and compliance experience in the derivatives markets.
