Buddhist and Taoist traditions also have many similar methods.
The difference is,
the Socratic method's ultimate goal is to rely on reason to first break down and then establish a new conceptual system.
While Buddhism and Taoism, after breaking down, do not establish new ones,
but instead aim for insights beyond duality.
