Iran: Will charge for shipping services related to the Strait of Hormuz

Mars Finance News, June 15 — According to Iranian media reports on the 15th, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bahram Qasemi stated on the same day that Iran will be responsible for the security and safe passage management of the Strait of Hormuz "during a specific period" and will charge fees for related shipping services. Previously, a US-Iran draft agreement was reached, stating that the Strait of Hormuz would be open for free and navigation would be restored within 30 days.
