ZRO this wave of violent rally of 30%, but the greed and fear index directly soared to 78, with a funding rate of 0.05%. Historically, every time it reaches this range, it's a short-term harvesting point. I am the trader who focuses solely on sentiment turning points, and today I will tell you with data why chasing high now is just giving away money.
Currently, ZRO is quoted at 1.1912, surging from 0.9132 in 24 hours, with a trading volume of $338 million. It looks lively. But the sentiment indicator has already flashed red: the greed and fear index is 78, in the extremely greedy zone. Over the past 3 months, when ZRO was above 75, there was an 85% probability of a pullback within 24 hours, with an average drop of 7.3%.
The funding rate of 0.05% is an even more dangerous signal; exceeding 0.02% indicates a crowded long position. The last time on February 13, the rate was 0.08%, and the price dropped directly from 1.35 to 1.12, triggering a lot of leveraged positions.
Don’t talk to me about “trend breakout.” Extreme sentiment is never an accelerator; it’s a catalyst for reversal. The historical comparison is even clearer: in December last year, when ZRO’s rate was 0.06%, the price fell from 1.8 to 1.2 within a week, a 33% drop.
It’s even hotter now, but the price is still lower, indicating this rally is solely driven by sentiment, not fundamentals.
Here comes the trading advice: don’t buy near 1.19—that’s called catching the falling knife. If a sentiment turning point occurs, i.e., the greed and fear index drops below 65 and the rate returns to below 0.01%, that’s the best entry point, targeting an entry zone of 1.05-1.08.
Set stop-loss at 0.98, first take-profit target at 1.25, second target at 1.35. Keep position size within 20% of total funds—don’t go all-in at once.
If you want to see me monitor sentiment turning points in real-time and enter the market, follow me. I don’t talk nonsense, just data.
Sentiment turning point = best entry. Now is the time to watch the indicators for signals—don’t get itchy fingers.
