One trading phase completely changed the way I think about investing.

I was analyzing HUSDT on both the 1H and 4H timeframes. The structure was clear: strong selling pressure, consecutive red candles, and rising volume.

Based on that analysis, I opened 6 short positions.

Most traders remember their biggest wins.

I remember the trade that went wrong.

One of my shorts moved sharply against me and quickly reached a -40% drawdown.

In the past, I would have held the position, hoping the market would reverse and save me.

This time, I did something different.

I followed my trading plan.

Before this phase, I focused too much on winning trades and not enough on protecting capital.

Since then, I always define risk before entering a position, exit losing trades quickly, and wait patiently for high-probability setups.

That -40% trade cost me money.
