Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated that the S-1 registration statement for the iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF (BITA) became effective on the afternoon of June 12, and it is expected to go public soon, possibly starting trading around this Thursday. Balchunas said that this product is the highly anticipated follow-up to BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF IBIT. BITA is expected to generate premium income through Bitcoin-related exposure and options strategies.
