#我的Gate交易时刻

They say the crypto world is an opportunity for ordinary people to turn things around. I came in with 200U, thinking I’d double it and then stop.

But now, there’s only over 140U left in my account.

Where did I go wrong?

· First time: When BTC hit 69,000, I chased the rally and opened a small long position, but a sudden drop wiped out -30U and got me liquidated.
· Second time: When ETH was at 3,300, I thought “It’s over,” but it kept falling to 2,800. I held on for three days, finally cutting at -45U.
· Third time: Tried to play a meme coin for a rebound, bought a “Golden Dog,” but the project team ran away the next day, zeroed out -20U.
· Scattered fees, slippage, impulsive trades… before I knew it, 200U became just over 140U.

I’ve realized:

1. No stop-loss strategy means going naked. Every time I think “Just hold on a bit longer, it’ll come back,” but I end up falling into the abyss.
2. Don’t trade high-leverage contracts with small funds. With my 200U account, opening 20x leverage, ETH’s 1% move means I’m out of the game instantly.
3. Don’t trust “teachers leading trades.” I was just pulled into a group, listened to a “divine signal” for a week, and followed blindly into the market.
4. If you can’t control your hands, don’t play. Waking up in the middle of the night, wanting to check the K-line, then slipping and opening a trade.

What should I do now?
I plan to buy BTC and ETH with the remaining U in batches and keep them as tuition fees.
No more dreaming of doubling; I need to learn how to survive first.

If my experience can help you lose less, then these 200+ U weren’t wasted.
