Fans shorted ZEC at $430, now at $490, with an unrealized loss of $60, feeling uncomfortable? Don’t hold on stubbornly!
How to resolve? Three steps:
1. Don’t add to your position; today’s daily close is at 493, RSI is neutral to slightly strong, but the BOLL upper band is far at 628, there’s still room.
2. Reverse with a small long position, using profits to hedge — for example, close 30% of the short, then open a 2x long to catch the rebound and cover losses.
3. Wait until it reaches around 510; if a long upper shadow appears, close all short positions, or even reverse to short.
