According to CoinDesk, Cathie Wood's ARK Invest bought nearly 3.3 million shares of stock on the first day of SpaceX's IPO, valued at over $500 million based on the closing price. SpaceX's offering price was $135, and on the first day of trading, it closed up more than 19% at $160.95. Data shows that ARK had reduced its other holdings by about $280 million a week before the IPO and continued to sell stocks of companies like AMD, Roku, and Baidu on the day of listing to free up funds for purchasing SpaceX.
