Crypto World News reports that Japan's cryptocurrency exchange bitbank has issued a warning regarding the use of prediction market services, stating that prediction market services, including Polymarket, may be operated by overseas providers, but if Japanese users access them domestically and use them for monetary gain, it may constitute gambling behavior. bitbank states that if it confirms that a user has deposits or withdrawals related to prediction market services or suspected related services, it may take account suspension measures. Once an account is suspended, the user will be unable to log in, deposit or withdraw crypto assets, withdraw Japanese yen, or trade cryptocurrencies.

This move in Japan is pretty harsh, directly cutting off card flow.
