Gate TradFi launches Hong Kong stock trading feature, initially covering over 1,000 Hong Kong-listed stocks
Odaily Planet Daily News: Gate TradFi officially launches Hong Kong stock trading functionality, further expanding its global multi-asset allocation capabilities. After upgrading the Gate App to version v8.23.5 or above, users can directly participate in Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) listed stock trading through the Gate platform using USDT, without the need to open a separate traditional brokerage account or exchange Hong Kong dollars themselves, enabling convenient access to the Hong Kong stock market.
The initial launch includes over 1,000 Hong Kong stock targets, covering key industries such as technology internet, finance, new energy, telecommunications, consumer goods, and biomedicine, including high-profile companies like Tencent Holdings, HSBC Holdings, Xiaomi Group, Meituan, BYD, China Mobile, and others. Hong Kong stocks and US stocks share the same stock account system, supporting buying and selling, position management, profit and loss inquiries, and historical record viewing, providing users with a unified and efficient trading experience. Additionally, only intraday trading is supported; pre-market and after-hours trading services are not available. Prices, profit and loss, and position market value are all displayed in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD), with trading fees converted to USDT based on real-time exchange rates. The launch of the Hong Kong stock product further enriches Gate TradFi’s global stock product matrix, offering users a more convenient one-stop cross-market investment channel.
