According to Korean media einfomax, Future Asset Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for business cooperation with Ondo Finance, which will focus on areas such as tokenization of funds and real-world assets (RWA), building on-chain asset management infrastructure, and developing digital investment products for global investors.
Future Asset plans to start with the tokenization of US-listed ETFs, leveraging its US subsidiary Global X and multiple overseas offices to expand its tokenization business.
Korean laws related to Security Token Offerings (STO) are expected to be implemented in February next year.
Previously, Future Asset has advanced the construction of an on-chain settlement system with Ava Labs, acquired Korbit at the group level, and partnered with Ondo Finance this time.
RWAxyz data shows that the total value of on-chain tokenized stocks exceeded $1 billion earlier this year, with Ondo Finance holding a 58% market share.
