Wu learned that Zelle operator Early Warning Services announced that India will become the first country where U.S. users can send remittances to overseas friends and family via Zelle, with the service expected to launch before the end of this year. The company also launched its own USD-backed stablecoin ZelleUSD (ZLUSD) to support future international payment capabilities in other markets, with more details to be announced in the coming months. Early Warning Services is jointly owned by seven U.S. financial institutions, including Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo.
