Last trading day before the FOMC.

Pre-market futures are basically flat, with the S&P futures up 0.1%, and the NASDAQ up 0.15%.
On the surface, everything seems calm, but secretly everyone is doing the same thing—adjusting their positions.

This time is different because Warsh is hosting the FOMC for the first time.
The market has almost no historical data on him.

You say hawkish? He has indeed criticized easing policies in his columns before.
You say dovish? He is a pragmatic type who wouldn't deliberately crash the market just to boost his reputation.
No one knows what the final outcome will be.

Today, my holdings are about 20% lighter than usual.
Not because I’m bearish, but because I don’t want to be caught off guard by a surprising dot plot at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
