I actually think many people confuse "can't make money now" with "this gameplay will never end."

The current problem isn't that the primary and secondary markets have completely died, but that the market lacks incremental capital; everyone is engaged in a stockpile game.
Capital is becoming more concentrated, which is why we see:
Top projects barely holding on;
Small and medium projects starving to death;
Retail investors growing more exhausted;
Gameplay becoming more competitive.
But I don't think the chances of MEME disappearing or the primary market vanishing are high.
Looking back over these years, the form of the primary market has been constantly changing:
Pre-sales → Inscription → Minting → Fair Launch → Inner Market Snatching → Pump Mode...
Essentially, what everyone has been chasing is never a specific gameplay, but the opportunity to "obtain high-odds chips at low cost."
As long as the crypto world exists, and as long as people want to earn excess returns, the primary market will continue to evolve new gameplay methods.
Right now, it feels more like an old model has become ineffective, and a new model hasn't fully emerged yet.
Historically, every time people shout "there's nothing to play with," it's often the night before the birth of the next wave of gameplay.
