All along, retail investors like us have been troubled by one question: should small funds embrace leading stocks, focusing on certainty or high odds;
Simply put, having small funds is not a reason to choose high risk. My answer is that small funds should embrace certainty even more.
Small money can make big gains by following the trend of leading stocks, then finding small-cap stocks that accompany the trend of the leaders;
With a principal of 1 million yuan choosing BTC, and 100,000 yuan choosing Dogecoin, BTC is expected to double, Dogecoin is expected to increase tenfold.
There’s no real flaw in that, but there’s one problem: a bull market in a certain sector is always a bull market for the sector’s leaders—that’s certainty.
If Doge can follow the leader’s trend and go bullish, the odds are definitely higher than BTC, but many people can’t even see liquidity, whether the trend is confirmed, or if there’s a main driver;
I often hear you talk about Buffett, Duan Yongping—they don’t look at candlestick charts. They indeed don’t check them often, but if you carefully study their buying points and public information, you’ll see—do they understand candlestick charts?
They might not look at second or minute charts like us, just larger timeframes. They focus on a company's moat, understanding the market’s potential incremental growth.
This is actually the same in the crypto market—fundamentals are similar, but the driving logic has shifted to a different concept.
My summarized technique: heavily invest in leaders to embrace certainty, small positions to test small targets, buying at ideal prices, confirming patterns, and breaking through trends.
Reject the practice of adding positions in batches, reduce the capital’s sedimentation cycle, even if it means trading time for space.
Keep funds mainly in the leading stocks of an industry.
As retail investors, lacking advanced insight and resources, initially you can only find opportunities through candlestick charts.
If you say candlestick charts are useless, then you can unfollow me—I’m just indulging in my own fantasies.
