Many bank accounts are frozen during P2P transactions, why is that ⁉️

Withdrawing crypto to a bank account can cause the account to be locked, but the reason is not due to owning cryptocurrencies.
The main risk occurs when users receive money via P2P or OTC from accounts involved in scams, money laundering, or suspicious transactions.
When suspicious funds are detected, banks may temporarily freeze the account and request the account holder to explain the source of the funds.
In the context of the legal framework for digital assets in Vietnam gradually being finalized, regulatory authorities are increasingly focusing on transparency, tax obligations, and the ability to prove the legal origin of the funds.
Therefore, investors need to keep transaction history on exchanges, bank statements, on-chain transaction codes, and partner information.
P2P transactions are not completely safe, so prioritize reputable buyers and sellers, avoid receiving money from accounts with mismatched names or suspicious signs to reduce the risk of account lockout and having to work with the bank.
