In a video filmed in the northeastern United States in 2024, an observer described a light source resembling an "electric plasma sphere" hovering above a pond, with its shape and brightness intermittently changing, sometimes appearing to split into smaller points of light. The object disappeared after 45 minutes.
In a video shot in 2025, two red light points moved synchronously in midair, silently and smoothly. The witness described that as the two points of light were about to exit the field of view, they seemed to merge together.
