I started trading on Gate 2.6 years ago, and looking back, the journey has taught me far more than I ever expected.

Like many newcomers, I came into crypto thinking success was all about finding the next big pump. I chased trends, bought too late, sold too early, and learned some expensive lessons along the way. There were profitable trades, missed opportunities, and mistakes that I would never repeat today.

Among thousands of buy and sell decisions, there was one trade that completely changed my perspective. It wasn't my biggest win, nor was it my biggest loss. It was the trade that made me realize that successful trading isn't about being right every time—it's about managing risk, controlling emotions, and staying disciplined when the market becomes unpredictable.

Over the years, I've explored different sectors of the market, from BTC to meme coins, and every cycle has taught me something new. The biggest lesson? Patience is often more valuable than speed. The market will always offer new opportunities, but protecting your capital and learning from your mistakes is what keeps you in the game long enough to find them.

If I could give one piece of advice to crypto newcomers, it would be this:

Don't focus only on making money. Focus on learning. Profits come and go, but the knowledge and experience you gain from every trade will stay with you forever.
