Alatau City Hong Kong Roadshow Signs Six Agreements in One Day: ANT Digital Technology Reaches a Partnership with the Solana Foundation
Deep Tide TechFlow News, June 13th, according to PrimeMinister.kz, Kazakhstan Vice Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev visited Hong Kong and met with Chief Executive John Lee to discuss expanding trade, economic cooperation, and collaboration in financial technology innovation.
The core activity of the visit was the "Alatau City China Roadshow" investment roundtable, which attracted many leading investment funds, financial institutions, and technology companies from Hong Kong.
During the meeting, the Alatau City Administration signed six cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding with several international companies, mainly covering the following areas:
Ant Group's ANT Digital Technologies: exploring participation in Alatau City's digital infrastructure development and the implementation of advanced fintech solutions;
Solana Foundation: reaching cooperation on Web3 ecosystem development, blockchain technology talent training, and support for tech startups;
Dasco Capital and Templewater: signing a memorandum of understanding to jointly establish a private equity fund, focusing on investments in Kazakhstan and Central Asia projects, with Alatau City listed as a priority investment area.
In addition, the Kazakhstan delegation also held talks with senior executives from Hong Kong major investment and development companies such as Hysan Development, Far East Consortium, New World Group, and Bosera Asset Management.
Alatau City is a new economic growth center promoted under the instructions of Kazakhstan President Tokayev, with a special legal system that references Hong Kong’s successful experience in investor protection and international regulatory standards.
