$SPCX U.S. Department of Defense Releases Third Batch of UAP Declassified Files, Revealing FBI Investigations into Spherical Flying Objects
The U.S. Department of Defense released the third batch of declassified files related to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) on Friday, June 12. This release is part of the U.S. government's ongoing disclosure initiative called PURSUE, ordered by President Trump. The disclosures include FBI investigations into sightings of spherical flying objects recorded in reports from field agents in the Northeastern United States. The documents also show that UAP activity is widespread near sensitive U.S. military facilities and include reports from the CIA tracking how foreign governments respond to UAP encounters near critical infrastructure.
The third batch of files also includes a 1949 research report by the U.S. Army titled "Study of the 'Flying Disc' Phenomenon." The report was prepared for the General Staff's Planning and Operations Division and examined approximately 210 incidents dating back to June 1945. It found that only about 20% of these could be explained—most were attributed to weather balloons, meteors, or research equipment. Two incidents were identified as hoaxes. The study did not find these sightings!
