A single SOL transaction completely changed my perspective: it turns out making money isn't about quick reflexes, but about cognition

When I first entered the space, I always thought trading was about who could run faster.
Later, after experiencing a round of SOL market on Gate, I realized the market doesn't reward "impulsive players."
During that SOL adjustment, my friends were all bearish, and I almost cut my losses and ran away.
But I calmed down, reanalyzed on-chain data and market sentiment, and ultimately chose to hold.
Later, the market reversed, and that transaction not only brought profits but more importantly changed my understanding.
The most expensive lesson in the market isn't losing money.
It's missing opportunities because of emotional mistakes.
Since then, I began to understand:
Trading isn't a 100-meter dash, but a marathon.
And Gate's rich trading tools also helped me gradually develop more mature habits.
