X-Agent: Building an Agentic AI application layer for individual creators, developers, and communities
BlockBeats News, June 13, X-Agent, together with Sentient, Alibaba, Fudan University, and several other partners, jointly hosted the Open AGI Developer Day at Fudan Science Park in Shanghai.
At the event, Prime Xiao, Engineering Director of X-Agent, shared the company’s product philosophy: X-Agent is committed to building an Agent Application Layer for individual creators, developers, and communities, so that Agent Apps can be created, deployed, executed, distributed, and monetized. In the team’s view, Agent Apps should not only be able to connect to business status, call external tools, and complete tasks within clear boundaries, but also be discovered and used by real users after generation, forming a business closed loop around usage and tasks.
He further emphasized that X-Agent is not simply an AI coding tool, but a complete end-to-end chain that links Builder, Runtime, Payment, and Distribution—helping Agent Apps move from demos to real products, and from generation to distribution and monetization.
This event brought together AI entrepreneurs, developers, researchers, and ecosystem partners. Discussions were held around directions including open-source AI, Agent Infra, AI Apps, and more. On-site segments included theme talks, project demos, roundtable discussions, and open networking sessions.
