The most basic passive component in electronic devices, responsible for stabilizing current and filtering noise. Each circuit board has hundreds to thousands of them.
MLCC used in AI servers/GPUs is much more than in ordinary electronic products:
• One NVIDIA H100 graphics card requires about 10,000+ MLCCs
• Ordinary mobile phones only have 1,000-2,000
Data center explosions have led to a surge in GPU demand, so MLCC demand has increased accordingly.
Main manufacturers, Murata Manufacturing / TDK / Taiyo Yuden / Yageo / Huaxinke, A-shares include Fenghua High Tech (a leading MLCC company) and Sanhuan Group (upstream ceramic powder).
There is relatively little discussion about MLCC manufacturers, but every AI chip depends on them.
