Mars Finance News, Elon Musk's SpaceX has officially gone public, and in the S-1 filing submitted to the U.S. SEC during its IPO, it disclosed holding 18,712 BTC. Based on the current price of approximately $63,000, this Bitcoin is worth about $1.18 billion, making SpaceX the 8th largest publicly traded company in the world by Bitcoin holdings. SpaceX's Bitcoin holdings have been on the balance sheet for some time, with an average purchase cost of around $35,000, offering significant potential gains. Another publicly traded company under Musk, Tesla, also holds 11,509 BTC. Together, SpaceX and Tesla hold a total of 30,221 BTC, and if combined, their Bitcoin holdings would be enough to rank as the 5th largest publicly traded company in the world. SpaceX's IPO has indirectly provided traditional investment portfolios with Bitcoin exposure and also indicates that large strategic companies are increasingly accepting Bitcoin as a treasury asset.
