Regarding yesterday's premiere, I want to talk to everyone about "restraint" and compound interest in trading.
Yesterday's comeback live broadcast saw many old friends and new friends join.
The most concerned question from everyone almost all pointed to the same issue: When will you lead the trades?
Let me first clarify this with everyone:
Currently, I am handling some trivial matters in life and will focus my energy on the trading funds on that side first. The plan to lead trades on Gate will be temporarily put on hold for a while.
It's not that I won't do it; I just don't want to trade with impatience and superficiality.
In yesterday's live broadcast, we reviewed a total of 6 golden $XAUUSD trading opportunities:
✅ Among them, 4 were successfully closed with profits
⚠ One was closed according to plan with capital preservation, with small losses controlled within the rules
❌ The 6th one, even when a higher risk-reward and more certain opportunity appeared at the time, I still did not open a position.
Many people don't understand: Even with good opportunities, why give up?
Because at the moment of stop-loss exit in the 5th trade, entering the market immediately at the current price is essentially revenge trading.
A qualified trader should never be driven by emotions.
Impulsive re-entries after stop-loss, rushing to "recover losses," only magnify emotions and can lead to loss control.
True trading discipline is not about catching every opportunity, but about daring to stay put when it's not the right time to act.
Someone said, 12x is just the starting point; I want to break my previous record of 60x.
But I always understand that high profits are just luck; long-term compound interest is the essence of trading.
I don't pursue short-term doubling excitement; I prefer to use time to gain space, space to gain profit, and steadily hold onto every gain that belongs to me.
Not tempted by the market, not driven by emotions, only doing what I should do within the rules.
The road of trading is long, we take it slowly.
