CryptoWorld News reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting with military officials on June 12 that Russia is developing a satellite-based combat drone control system. In his remarks, Putin mentioned “1440 Bureau”—a Russian aerospace company that is developing a low Earth orbit satellite system for global broadband data transmission. Putin said that Russia’s low Earth orbit satellite system is “in no way inferior to the U.S. ‘Starlink’,” and may even be “better in some respects.”
