Liaoning Coastal Ship Routing System Released, Effective from August 15

Reporters have learned from the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport that the "Liaoning Coastal Ship Routing System" has been officially released and will be implemented starting August 15th this year. Liaoning has become the first province in the country to achieve full coverage of ship routing in coastal waters.
The ship routing system is an internationally used maritime traffic management model. By designating separate navigation lanes, warning zones, and other areas, it standardizes ship navigation order and reduces the risk of encounters and crossings.
In simple terms, it is like "lane lines," enabling ships to "stay in their own lanes." (CCTV News)
