$HMSTR and $BANANAS31 are like two vendors at a vegetable market selling rotten tomatoes—one sells by the jin for 0.0002 yuan, the other sells by the box for 0.0068 yuan. But both stalls are going crazy with discounts today: HMSTR is down 25.79%, and BANANAS31 is also down 24.08%. Put simply, if you bought 100 yuan worth of HMSTR yesterday, today you only have 74 yuan left. BANANAS31 is even worse: 100 yuan is now only 76 yuan. This kind of market feels like you spend 20 yuan to buy a watermelon, cut it open, and find only half is edible, while the rest is all rotten.

To put it in plain terms: the token price is like the vegetable price. The 24h rise/fall tells you how much cheaper it is today than yesterday. Trading volume is like the vegetable market’s total turnover. HMSTR’s 135 million turnover shows that a lot of people are still scrambling for rotten tomatoes, but BANANAS31’s 22.4 million turnover shows that everyone doesn’t really want to buy this expensive box of rotten goods. The highest price and the lowest price are the highest price this “dish” sold for today and the lowest it fell to—like HMSTR dropping from 0.0004 to 0.0002, which is basically a straight cut in half.

Data comparison: HMSTR is down 25.79%, and BANANAS31 is down 24.08%. It looks like HMSTR is doing worse, but looking at trading volume, HMSTR has sold 6 times more than BANANAS31, which suggests that some people are buying the dip while prices are dropping. Note that HMSTR’s lowest price of 0.0002 is the same as where it is now, so it may keep falling.

Trading advice: If you hold both of them, it’s recommended to stop the bleeding and exit first—if HMSTR breaks below 0.0002, cut it; if BANANAS31 falls below 0.0065, run. If you want to enter, wait until HMSTR rebounds to above 0.0003 before considering it, and keep your position within 5% of your total funds. Don’t get greedy. In this rotten-tomato kind of market, make 10 yuan and get out; lose 5 yuan and pull out.

Personal tag: I’ve been trading the vegetable market for 3 years. I’ve seen watermelons fall down to sesame-seed levels, and I’ve also seen tomatoes turn into golden gourds. Remember: in a downtrend, staying alive matters more than anything.
