Over 80% of the nationwide wheat harvest has been completed

The latest wheat machine-harvesting progress report from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs shows that, as of 17:00 on June 12, the country has harvested 278 million mu of summer grain wheat, with a harvesting progress of 82.01%. Wheat harvesting in Jiangsu has basically been completed, Shandong’s wheat harvest progress is close to four-fifths, Hebei and Shaanxi have both exceeded 50.5%, Shanxi has exceeded 40%, and wheat harvesting in Xinjiang and Gansu has started in scattered batches.
