So many people just joke/use satire 95% of the time because they’re ashamed of who they really are and don’t want to be nailed down to an opinion on something. They slither from mask to mask depending who they’re around so they never have to actually divulge what they believe. When you do this nobody can truly love you because they don’t truly know you. You seek love so you hide your real face but because of this your real face never faces real love, only your mask does but that doesn’t matter because it’s not really you. You know this consciously or at least subconsciously, but still you’re afraid to remove the mask.
