I suddenly remembered Chen Tianqiao of Shengda. This guy's vision was really ahead of its time. Early on, he was optimistic about LBS (Location Based Service), and he even created Qieke.com, encouraging players to check in everywhere and earn points at physical stores. It wasn't until now that I realized the most successful product of LBS is Didi Chuxing. Being ahead of the curve still requires practical products, along with repeated exploration and patience. Chen Tianqiao was even among the earliest to develop TV boxes (Shengda Box), and he was quick to see the potential of similar products (he acquired a well-known foreign mobile chat app very early on). He even said as early as 2009 that Shengda's biggest competitor was Tencent. He saw too many things and did too many things, without focusing on perfecting one, and in the end, Shengda Games and Qidian Chinese Network were all taken over by Ma Huateng.
