Ethena plans to invest $250 million in Securitize's tokenized AAA CLO fund to expand RWA deployment

According to a report by The Block, Mars Finance news: Ethena Labs plans to allocate $250 million to Securitize’s Tokenized AAA CLO Fund (STAC), which is already live on Solana. STAC is issued by Securitize in partnership with Bank of New York Mellon, investing in USD-denominated AAA-rated secured loan certificates (CLO). The fund’s current assets under management are approximately $102 million, with a 7-day annualized yield of about 2.42% and a management fee of 0.3%. Ethena aims to expand the collateral backing USDe and USDtb from crypto-native positions to institutional-grade real-world assets, and to work with institutions such as Janus Henderson to include its AAA CLO fund JAAA in the USDe reserve portfolio.
