Mars Finance News. On June 12, it was reported that hard problems such as long waits for medical treatment, misdiagnosis, and surgeries relying on experience are being solved one by one with the help of AI-assisted systems. During visits, it was found that from intelligent inquiry in cardiology, to one scan covering multiple checks in radiology, and to AI navigation in the operating room, AI-assisted systems have already been promoted and applied in multiple hospitals in Shanghai. In the radiology department of the same hospital, a single CT scan is no longer used to look at just one issue. With the help of the AI system, doctors can, with a single click, simultaneously screen for more than 70 diseases, automatically generate reports, and compare layer by layer with historical imaging. A surgical knife being off by just one millimeter could mean two different outcomes. After the liver surgery department of Ruijin Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine introduced AI navigation, the course of blood vessels and the location of tumors are displayed in three dimensions, and key steps that previously depended on experience and on-the-spot judgment are now planned before the incision.
