Deep Tide TechFlow News: On June 12, OpenAI officially announced that it will work to advance the development of AI content source verification standards and support the European Commission’s “Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content,” strengthening the source tracking and transparency of AI-generated content.

It is reported that since 2024, OpenAI has started adding C2PA metadata to the DALL·E 3 image generation tool to identify the source of AI-generated content. Since then, OpenAI has continued to refine content labeling and detection technologies, and has launched public verification tools to help users determine whether images contain source signals related to OpenAI-generated content.
