When DAO launched on STONfi, I did not immediately understand why I needed it. Voting, decisions. It seemed like it was for those deep in the space, while I just used the platform and that was enough for me.

But then I tried it. I staked STON, received ARKENSTON, and saw that I could participate. Not just watch from the side as the platform changes, but influence it. Even if my voice is one of many, it is there.

At first I just observed the votes. I watched what was being proposed, what people were discussing. And then I caught myself thinking that I actually cared. I spend a lot of time on STONfi, and I want the platform to develop in the right direction.

Now when a new proposal appears, I no longer skip it. I read, think, vote. It does not take much time, but it gives the feeling that you are not just a user, but part of the process.

Before, I thought governance was something complicated and distant. But it turned out to be simply the opportunity to have your say in the place where you spend your time. And that changes your attitude toward the platform.
