Cryptocurrency, A-shares, U.S. stocks—now that the bull market has reached where it is today, I believe anyone who managed to get through this recent round of the bull market in the crypto space should have already felt it in advance. How will A-shares move? How will U.S. stocks move? The crypto space gave the answer early. And regarding how U.S. stocks and A-shares will adjust—look at BTC as well; there should be an answer there too.
3-5 months ago, I also got involved in A-shares. I wasn’t willing to be the one stuck holding the bag on high-priced tech stocks, so I bought Shuanghui, I bought Muyuan, and I bought power stocks. Looking back now, only the power stocks kept making money.
Today’s A-shares price action is so similar to the crypto space: when tech falls, everything falls; when tech rises, other sectors drain the momentum. Selling tech at high levels and adding to other sectors—the ending is probably still going to be that same kind of disappointing result.
Crypto and A-shares are both normal manifestations of immature markets undergoing a shift away from retail investors. And if you take the time to carefully review U.S. market history, you can indeed feel this in advance. In the crypto bull market, I bought altcoins. In the A-shares bull market, I also bought all sorts of miscellaneous stocks. The reason I didn’t lose a lot is that I knew when to stop, cut my losses quickly—it was truly luck.
