⚠️ South Korea's stock market was halted after an ~8% drop on open.

What would it take for the US stock market to halt?
If the S&P 500 drops 7% in a single day, trading stops.
Not for SPY alone but for the entire U.S. stock market.
Circuit breakers are triggered at:
📉 -7% = 15-minute halt
📉 -13% = 15-minute halt
📉 -20% = Market closes for the day
The last market-wide halt happened during the COVID crash.
