The issue with curve fitting on a macro timeframe is that bottom and top line are converging and at this point one or the other are simply going to be invalidated.
We had a similar line for altcoins (OTHERS chart) and it got broken to the downside. For BTC I would not completely disregard the possibility that this one goes a bit deeper this time...
