ME News Report, May 17 (UTC+8), police from China, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates collaborated for the first time to successfully dismantle nine telecom network fraud dens in Dubai, arresting 276 suspects. Investigations revealed that the scam gangs established fake "romantic" relationships through social media platforms, then lured victims into investing in so-called high-yield cryptocurrency projects, resulting in victims being defrauded. The Ministry of Public Security stated that this cooperation is a major achievement in China's international law enforcement efforts and will continue to deepen collaboration with other countries to jointly combat telecom fraud crimes and protect the legitimate rights and interests of people worldwide.
