ME News Report, May 17 (UTC+8), the new Solana validator client Firedancer developed by Jump Crypto has been running on the mainnet for several months, successfully producing blocks and processing tens of millions of transactions. Firedancer's lead engineer Ritchie Patel stated that although Firedancer is in production, it is not recommended for half of the network nodes to upgrade immediately before a comprehensive security audit is completed to avoid risks. The team has adopted a cautious, gradual rollout strategy and has conducted a million-dollar bug bounty security audit to ensure network stability. The project aims to improve Solana's performance, resilience, and client diversity, and to form a complementary partnership with the Anza client. (Source: MLion)
