- Too much FUD is appearing, especially around the US–Iran situation and the likelihood that the FED may decide to raise interest rates.
- BTC dominance (Dom BTC) continues to recover slightly
- The prices of BTC and Altcoins continue to dump. Altcoins’ dump performance is much higher than BTC’s
🔎 Personal view:
1. Capital is being withdrawn from the market, including both BTC and Altcoins. Among them, the outflow from Altcoins is faster and larger. This leads to a decline in total market capitalization; BTC price falls, but Dom BTC still rises.
2. The capital withdrawn from Altcoins is gradually shifting toward BTC because BTC is holding up better than Altcoins during these times. And after BTC rises again, it may deliver better performance and be safer.
3. This is not the most terrifying time for Altcoins. The most terrifying moment will appear when BTC sweeps liquidity strongly in this period, at 5x (x the shorthand “primary school” meaning).
