Iran claims to have attacked important facilities of the U.S. Fifth Fleet again
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran issued a statement, according to CoinWorld.net:
At 1:30 a.m. on June 6, under the command of the U.S. military, four illegal oil tankers attempted to illegally exit the Strait of Hormuz, the Guard intercepted one, and the remaining ships turned back.
At 2:00 a.m., U.S. military drones fired on communication facilities on Geshm Island and the port of Sirik.
The IRGC Aerospace Force then launched ballistic missiles, striking the Kuwaiti U.S. Air Force base and facilities of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
The statement warned: If similar acts occur again, limited responses will no longer be sufficient, and the enemy will bear the consequences of a complete disruption of oil and gas exports through the Strait of Hormuz.
