Just now I almost impulsively crossed the bridge to another chain, but when I saw the words “multi-signature + oracle,” I instantly snapped out of it… To put it simply, no matter how fancy these two are, they’re still just a bunch of people / a set of price feeds endorsing for you. When something really goes wrong, you might not even be able to press the on-chain self-rescue button. So I’d rather go slower now, patiently wait for confirmation, rather than risk putting the black box of danger just to save a few minutes. Recently, there’s been a heated debate about staking and sharing security with that “yield stacking” approach. It looks to me like a nesting doll: the more layers, the more eager to rush forward, but the first thing ignored is “what exactly has been confirmed.” Anyway, I don’t chase after it; I’d rather miss out than gamble on a black swan event on the bridge.
