$AMZN AMZN
Back in late May, most of my portfolio was still in crypto. But when I opened the stock section on Gate, one chart caught my eye: Amazon.

It had pulled back from a recent high near $274 to a low around $247, and was now trading near $254—pushing above its short‑term moving average. The momentum gauge showed its first light bar after a long red run. That’s not a sure bottom, but it often signals a shift.
The Bigger Picture – A Rotating Market
The S&P 500 and the large‑cap tech index have moved sideways after a big rally tied to machine‑learning themes. Money isn’t flooding into one sector anymore. We’re seeing rotation.
· Nvidia led last year, but most of the 2026 hope already looks priced in. I’m on hold, watching the $110–$130 zone.
· AMD looks like better value. If it gains server chip share and improves output on new process nodes, I’d build a position below $140.
· Energy – Oil stays in a $70–$85 range. Solar and storage names look better if rate cuts come.
· Finance – High rates helped big banks (JPMorgan, Bank of America) keep strong lending spreads. Small banks still carry property loan risk – choose carefully.
My Playbook on the Big Names
· Nvidia (NVDA) – Below its 100‑day line, weak volume. I sell high option premium around reports and add only under $115.
· Tesla (TSLA) – Driven by self‑driving cab chatter. $170 is a key floor. I sell calls when premium is rich and add shares if it drops to $150.
· Apple (AAPL) – Slower phone cycle, but services keep growing. The $185–$200 range is a long‑term add zone (cash flow + buybacks).
· AMD – Cheaper than Nvidia. Data center story is still alive. I trade it from $130 to $145, waiting for a breakout to add more.
· Amazon (AMZN) – Bounced from $247, now facing resistance at its longer moving average near $256. I took a first piece at $253. I’ll add on a daily close above $257, with a stop under $246.
Why I Love Trading US Stocks on Gate
I’ve used Gate for years on the crypto side. I was genuinely glad to see I could buy US shares with a few taps.
· Move USDT → dollars → pick the share → market order.
· The charts have the same tools I use daily – it feels like trading coins.
· Fees are much lower than traditional brokers.
· Cash trades only (no margin), which is great for risk control.
Three Shifts Coming From Crypto
1. Size – A 2% move in Amazon feels big; 10% is normal for Bitcoin. So I size down.
2. Hours – Markets run 9:30–16:00 NY time, not 24/7. I actually sleep better.
3. Study – In crypto, hype and narratives drive price. With stocks, I read income statements, cash flow, and outlook. For Amazon, cloud unit margins matter as much as tokenomics.
My 2026 Plan (Old Strategy, New Tweaks)
· Hold a core in a broad index fund.
· Add high‑conviction names like AMD, Tesla, Amazon.
· Keep 15–20% cash to buy dips (like the $247 Amazon drop).
· Don’t take big bets before key data (CPI, Fed minutes).
· If the Fed hints at cuts, growth names should get a lift.
The Bottom Line
Crypto taught me risk.
Stocks taught me calm.
With apps like Gate that link both, the line between them fades.
What really counts:
➤ When you buy
➤ How much you buy
➤ How you cut your loss
This week, I’m watching Amazon hold above $256 and Nvidia hold $120. If both hold, a summer rally could begin.
