Last night, I saw another large transfer on the blockchain, and the group immediately started interpreting it as "smart money entering the market." I also got itchy and almost chased after it. Later, I forced myself to pause for two minutes: what information do I really have? Basically, it's just emotion + FOMO. I took another look at the path, and the CEX deposits and withdrawals, moving between hot and cold wallets might just be rebalancing, which has little to do with whether I buy or not. If I really want to get in, I first need to calculate the hidden costs clearly: slippage, fees, cross-chain transfers back and forth, and possibly getting sandwiched... profits are first stolen away. Once, I didn't understand something and chose not to act, and the next day, there was a big retracement, which actually saved me the tuition fee. Anyway, now I’d rather miss out than add to my position based on "I think."
