Recently, I've seen a bunch of social mining/points tasks again—spamming interactions, hanging out on profiles, collecting badges. It feels like they're burning time as fuel. Honestly, points are just a temporary currency; once the rules change, you can't take anything with you. In the end, it's just a bunch of "identity" screenshots... I'm just someone who loves dissecting mechanisms. When I see this, I have to ask: how do the people issuing points recoup their costs? Who's footing the bill? Are they relying on new users coming in later to take over?

By the way, the complaints about miner/validator income, MEV, and fair ordering are quite comparable: there are naturally people on the chain who stand in a "cutting in line" position, and the social layer turns attention into a resource that can also be ordered. Anyway, my current approach is to complete key operations in one go whenever possible. I skip the daily check-ins afterward—no need to drain my life just for a badge.
