CryptoWorld News reports that the Casper network has launched an AI-centric toolkit on its mainnet, allowing autonomous agents to perform blockchain payments and build decentralized applications.

The toolkit integrates multiple infrastructure components, enabling AI agents to execute transactions, interact with decentralized finance applications, and deploy smart contracts directly on the network.
Casper Association Chief Technology Officer Michael Steuer stated that current AI systems still rely on payment and access models designed for humans, but Casper's AI toolkit changes this—agents can make payments via cryptographic proofs within seconds and write and deploy smart contracts without human intervention.
Additionally, Casper has introduced the x402 accelerator, which allows AI agents to directly pay for online services, streamlining the payment process.

Casper’s move is interesting, but how should the security boundaries for automatic smart contract deployment be set? I’m a bit worried that permissions could get out of control.

This design of x402 is quite clever, reducing payment friction to zero. The agent economy is really about to take off.

AI agents can now pay on their own; this scenario was only seen in science fiction movies before.
